As Project Mobilisation Director you will ensure the successful transition of newly awarded transport contracts and by working with the commercial team to identify new opportunities such as bus franchising tenders or long term contracts. This will be achieved through working closely with the Commercial team at tender stage, leading the mobilisation phase, seamlessly handing over the project to the local operations lead and supporting the operations team during the transition through to a fully operational state.

The key objective of this role is to ensure a smooth mobilisation of contracts, good relations with the client and ensuring all actions are completed and fully handed over to the operations team. As a key member of our central team, you will provide first line leadership for new contracts and business.

You'll need to:

·      Mobilise, re-mobilise and de-mobilise contracts.

·      Engage with key stakeholders and act as the conduit to ensure all mobilisation actions are completed in the agreed timeframes.

·      Responsible for management of the mobilisation budget, ensuring each mobilisation is successfully delivered within the budget constraints.

·      Co-ordinate the relevant business support departments at various stages throughout the process.

·      Liaising with subcontractors to ensure all actions are achieved within agreed budgets and timeframes.

·      Conduct TUPE consultations.

·      Work with HR to lead on recruitment and transfer of staff.
